Video: If Real Madrid needs me I’ll surely say yes, watch: Raheem Sterling send big transfer boost to real Madrid

Raheem Sterling could be set to become a wanted commodity in the transfer market heading into the summer. The Manchester City superstar is entering the final year of his contract with the club and is contemplating his future at the Etihad Stadium.

The 27-year-old is concerned by his lack of game-time in big games, as Pep Guardiola snubbed him for Man City’s UEFA Champions League semi-final tie against Real Madrid in both legs.

However, Sterling is yet to make a decision on his future and has postponed it until after England’s UEFA Nations League fixtures coming up.

And, as per the Daily Mail, interest in Sterling is rising, especially in Spain, as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are all keeping a close eye on the winger’s situation.

It is no secret that Barcelona are on the hunt for attacking additions in the summer as they prepare for the departure of contract rebel Ousmane Dembele. Even though they have been heavily linked with Raphinha, Sterling can also be a quality replacement for the Frenchman cat Camp Nou.

As for Real Madrid, they are forced into the market after missing out on the signing of Kylian Mbappe, who performed a last-minute swerve to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain. Sterling, to that end, has emerged as a prospective target for the European champions

Atletico Madrid, meanwhile, are looking for a marquee signing to replace Luis Suarez, who has left the club upon the expiry of his contract, with Sterling on their radar.

Apart from the three clubs mentioned, Chelsea are also interested in the Manchester City forward heading into the summer window. But as iterated earlier, a decision will only be made once Sterling is done with the international assignments in the coming weeks.

If he decides to leave the Premier League champions, there is unlikely to be any shortage of suitors for the 27-year-old.
