Paul Pogba could have a huge say in the success of Chelsea’s upcoming transfer window amid Todd Boehly’s mission to bolster the first-team ahead of next season. The Blues have been heavily linked with a move for a midfielder lately, with Jorginho and N’Golo Kante set to leave Stamford Bridge in twelve months.

 

Declan Rice and Aurelien Tchouameni have emerged as primary targets of Thomas Tuchel, though the west Londoners have also been linked with a move for Adrien Rabiot, according to reports. Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport claim that Chelsea are leading the race to sign the Juventus midfielder this summer.

 

The report adds that the 27-year-old, who sees his contract with the Turin-based side expire next summer, could be available for as little as €15 million (£12.8m). Newcastle have also been credited with an interest in Rabiot, but his agent is leaving the door open to a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
